Job Description

We take pride in consistently delivering superior and reliable service, a broad scope of services and an exemplary safety record.  We’re currently seeking an Operations Planner.

The Operations Planner will be responsible for executing the dispatch process that supports Depot/Terminal Operations. The position will work with the Customer, Depot Managers and other operational center personnel to develop daily dispatch plans and make proactive recommendations on adjustments to facilitate the operation.


Operations Planner


  • Works with Depot personnel to develop daily dispatch plans
  • Manages truck capacity needs
  • Monitors terminal operations to proactively adjust daily plan
  • Assists with generation of daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports
  • Assists with managing driver paperwork

  • Logistics/Dispatch experience with Company Drivers, Owner Operators and domestic transportation operation network
  • Driver retention

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to analyze numerical and written information; critically examines information for accuracy / quality
  • Must be familiar with dispatch systems and technology
  • Familiar with MS Office programs and efficient Excel user
  • This position will require Associate to work outside of normal business hours when required to meet the needs of the business
  • Knowledge of State regulations and DOT
  • Team player
